Samantha Z. Cardinal, D.M.D.
Dr. Samantha Cardinal joined Kundinger Orthodontics in 2023. Practicing alongside her mom, they are keeping our practice local and in the family. Upon graduating from Barron Collier, Dr. Sam temporarily left Naples to further her education. During her time away, she first completed her B.S. in Health Science from Wake Forest University before moving on to Boston University where she earned her M.S. in Oral Health Science as well as her DMD doctorate - graduating at the top of her class. She was then accepted into the Orthodontic Residency at Marquette University where she earned her second M.S. in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as their Chief Resident. Dr. Cardinal is awaiting her results for Board Certification through the College of Diplomates American Board of Orthodontics, expecting to pass and be fully Board Certified in 2024.
Dr. Sam moved back to Naples with her husband - Jason, their Yellow Lab - Patton, and their rescued cat - Obi a.k.a. “Dumpster Cat”. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Naples.
Dr. Cardinal is passionate about creating a positive experience for each and every patient and ensuring our patients are actively involved and informed regarding all aspects of their treatment. She is dedicated to working with patients to understand their main concerns and addressing them throughout treatment, so that every patient has the opportunity to transform their smile into not only a beautiful one, but one that is stable and allows the patient to function comfortably.
